Pre-Order Now for Booyah To Go

Order ahead of time to reserve your BHC Booyah to go.  You can pre-order until noon Friday, April 19.  Pre-ordered booyah can be picked up between 11:00 and 1:00. All other take-out starts at noon.

 

Booyah is $10 per quart.  To preorder, email supportBHC@belgianheritagecenter.org with the number of quarts you would like.  Payment and pick-up instructions will be provided.
Booyah & Bread

Booyah & Bread

Join us for a traditional Belgian lunch. The menu will include our famous booyah, bread, desserts, and a beverage for $12 for adults, $8 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 or under. Take-out booyah will be offered for $10 per quart after 12:00 noon. Details are in the poster at the link below.

2024 Weekend Hours

The Belgian Heritage Center will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting May 24.  Regular hours are from 10:00 to 3:00.  Visits can also be arranged by appointment by emailing tourinfo@belgianheritagecenter.org or by calling 920-493-5969 at least a week in advance.  We look forward to your visit!
Special Presentation -

Special Presentation - "Shot Down"

BHC and the Peninsula Belgian American Club are pleased to host Speaker/Author Steve Snyder at the Belgian Heritage Center.  Steve's father, Howard Snyder, was a pilot stationed in England during World War II. On February 8, 1944, his plane, the B-17 Susan Ruth, was shot down over the French/Belgium border after a mission to bomb Frankfurt, Germany. Steve will share power point presentation on how he researched and wrote a book about the assistance of Belgians to hide his father from the Germans. His book will be for sale at the presentation.

 

There is no fee to attend this event.  A short meeting will precede the speaker.

Waffle Breakfast

There will be a waffle breakfast on Sunday, June 30 at the Belgian Heritage Center. Breakfast includes waffles, trippe (a Belgian sausage), eggs and a beverage. Proceeds support the Belgian Heritage Center.  Price is $12 for adults, $7 for children 4-12, free for children 3 and under.

The Belgian Heritage Center is a great location to host your event.  BHC’s facilities accommodate family reunions, weddings, conferences and other gatherings.  Options include indoor or outdoor gathering, catering kitchen, banquet tables/chairs, audio/visual equipment and food service equipment.
