Small Batch Booyah DVD
Many booyah recipes handed down are meant to feed a crowd. In BHC's new video, John and Barb Maskell show you how to make a dinner sized batch along with tips, tricks and a little Belgian lore. Video is available on DVD only through BHC for $15. Email contact@belgianheritagecenter.org if you are interested.

Genealogy 101 - Brown County Library

The Brown County Library is hosting a genealogy series on Saturdays from January 28 through March 25. Sessions will be held in the Central Library Auditorium from 9:10 - 10:45 with bonus programs from 10:50 - noon. There is a Belgian focused session on March 11. Belgian Roadside Chapel - Dinner / Lecture

LOCATION: HERITAGE HILL STATE HISTORICAL PARK, 2640 S Webster Avenue, Green Bay.
Fr. Edward Looney pastors the Catholic parishes in Brussels and Lincoln/Rosiere, an area heavily influenced by Belgian heritage. Fr. Looney became enamored with the Roadside Chapels found throughout the area and wanted to bring them to a wider audience. He did this first through Facebook and the Belgian Roadside Chapels of Northeast Wisconsin and then by filming a documentary that has aired on Catholic Faith Network in New York, Catholic TV in Boston, and worldwide through EWTN. Fr. Looney looks forward to sharing the story of the chapels and showing his documentary to those in attendance.
Belgian Heritage Center will provide the meal including traditional booyah, trippe, and specaloo cookies. See this link for more information:

Booyah & Bread
Starts: April 23, 2023 at 11:00 am
Ends: April 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm
Join us for a traditional Belgian lunch. The menu will include our famous booyah, bread, desserts, and a beverage for $12 for adults, $8 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 or under. Take-out booyah will be offered for $10 per quart after 12:00 noon. Details are in the poster at the link below.

Shrines of Belgium Tour

Waffle Breakfast

There will be a waffle breakfast on Sunday, June 25 at the Belgian Heritage Center. Breakfast includes waffles, trippe (a Belgian sausage), eggs and a beverage. Proceeds help support the Belgian Heritage Center. Price is $12 for adults, $7 for children 4-12, free for children 3 and under.

View Wedding Chapel Brochure
The Belgian Heritage Center is a perfect church-like setting for weddings and wakes/funerals. The Belgian Heritage Center is also available for rental for private events such as meetings, conferences and family reunions.
