Belgian Roadside Chapel - Dinner / Lecture

Belgian Roadside Chapel - Dinner / Lecture

Starts: February 16, 2023 at 5:30 pm
Ends: February 16, 2023 at 8:30 pm

LOCATION: HERITAGE HILL STATE HISTORICAL PARK, 2640 S Webster Avenue, Green Bay. Fr. Edward Looney pastors the Catholic parishes in Brussels and Lincoln/Rosiere, an area heavily influenced by Belgian heritage. Fr. Looney became enamored with the Roadside Chapels found throughout the area and wanted to bring them to a wider audience. He did this first through Facebook and the Belgian Roadside Chapels of Northeast Wisconsin and then by filming a documentary that has aired on Catholic Faith Network in New York, Catholic TV in Boston, and worldwide through EWTN. Fr. Looney looks forward to sharing the story of the chapels and showing his documentary to those in attendance. Belgian Heritage Center will provide the meal including traditional booyah, trippe, and specaloo cookies.  See this link for more information:  Heritage Hill website
